As some of you know, Christy and I  have talked and dreamed about building an indoor pole vault facility for several years.  Recently we were fortunate enough to have the grandparents of some of our vaulters donate a few acres that border our property for that very purpose.

Our plan is to erect an "Arch" style metal building (170'L x 60'W x 24'H).  We've looked over several options and various building structures and this one makes the most sense and comes with the best price.

We would appreciate any help we can get to make this happen!  AVC has never charged much for our services (and we don't plan to), just enough to buy some poles and keep equipment updated.  We are hoping for donations.  This building project is going to be costly, even with us doing most of the work ourselves.

Since 1999, we have had 53 state champions, indoors and outdoors, and 23 state meet record holders. There have been several enthusiastic parents and fans that have expressed interest in supporting our program in many ways and being a part of our success.  Now's the time.  Now I am asking anyone who can help in any way (time, equipment, services, money, etc.) to please make a donation toward this project.

We already have a few donations and we are opening an "AVC Building Fund Account " that will allow us to keep these funds separate from our regular club account.

If you are interested in helping in any way, please let us know.

Thank you,

Morry Sanders
